This year’s offertory appeal theme, See, I Am Doing a New Thing, comes from the prophet Isaiah, and reminds us that God is always doing something new. Beginning with the creation story in Genesis, Scripture abounds with stories of how the most unexpected of events provided the opportunity for being church and serving others in new ways. We certainly have seen many examples of this during the last two years as St. Paul the Apostle Church and School have adapted to the conditions created by the pandemic. During this time, we have been blessed by the consistent financial support of parishioners, which has enabled us to fulfill our mission. As we look to the future, we continue to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit to guide us so that we can live as intentional disciples and respond to the needs of our parish and our world. Please prayerfully consider your pledge for the coming year. With your support, we will no doubt see the ways in which God is doing a new thing.
