O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
Advent Soup Supper & Prayer Service

Wednesdays, December 3 & 17

Join us this Advent as we journey together in prayer, reflection, and expectation, preparing room in our hearts for the One who brings light to the world.

During this holy season of Advent, we will be offering a Soup Supper on Wednesdays beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by Evening Prayer and Eucharistic Adoration from 6:45 - 8 pm.

Come share a simple meal, enjoy the warmth of fellowship, and enter into prayerful reflection as we anticipate the joyful arrival of Christ. Together, let us embrace the spirit of hope, peace, and love that Advent brings.

Give to the needy

It is a St. Paul School tradition for 8th-grade students to serve the meal on Christmas Eve at Café on Vine. While there, they also distribute warm items to their guests. If you would like to help with this effort, we are in need of new, unopened socks, gloves, hats, sweatshirts, blankets, boots, and long underwear.
Please drop off your donations to the school office no later than Monday, December 16th.

Also, we are collecting packages of diapers to be donated to the Women’s Choice Center. Drop all items off at the school or parish office. Between December 15-18.

Help Decorate the Church for Christmas

Volunteers are needed to help prepare the church for our Christmas liturgies. We'll be collecting and staging trees, greens, lights, and Nativity sets in Denning Hall on Saturday, December 20th from 10:00 till noon.

Then we'll set-up in church on Tuesday, December 23 from 10:00 to noon. If you can help out either day, call Jeanne in the parish office to let her know at 563.322.7994. It's a big job, and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Serve at Masses

Please consider volunteering as a liturgical minister for one of our Christmas Masses. Current volunteers can sign up for any openings on Ministry Scheduler or contact Jeanne in the parish office. Thanks in advance for your service!
