The Shroud of Turin is a centuries-old linen cloth that bears the image of a crucified man. An increasing number of people believe that man to be Jesus of Nazareth. The debate still goes on….is this truly the cloth that wrapped Jesus in the tomb, or is it a forgery? It is the single most studied artifact in human history, and this presentation will detail the extensive evidence that points to the answer to that question. A full-size replica of the Shroud will be on display to assist your understanding of this powerful artifact.
Bob Bird is an experienced lecturer and student on the subject of the Shroud, and a member of a distinguished group of speakers endorsed by the Shroud of Turin Education and Research Association (STERA). Bob is a retired history teacher and has hosted “The Bird’s Eye View” radio show on KSRM radio in Kenai, Alaska, for nearly a decade.
