St. Paul's Outside the Walls - Meals of Hope

Family Food Packing Sunday, April 12

Did you know that food insecurity affects every county in the United States? Over 44 million people, including 13 million children, don’t always know where their next meal will come from. Right here in Scott County, around 14,370 people—8.2% of our population—face food insecurity.

Join us on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 12, at 12 PM in Denning Hall for a family-friendly Meals of Hope packing event! Together, we’ll prepare 10,000 mac & cheese meals for our neighbors in need, with all meals staying local through River Bend Food Bank.

Can’t make it but still want to help? We need to raise $4,500 to make this possible. Just $20 provides 57 meals! Donations can be made via Venmo (@StPaulApostleDav) or placed in the collection basket—please specify "Meals of Hope."

Let’s come together as a parish to share God’s mercy and serve those in need!

Invest in your Marriage Date Night

You are invited to our annual Invest in Your Marriage Date Night. This is a special night for married couples, from newlyweds to those married 60 years young. Come enjoy a night with the person you fell in love with, and fellow couples, as we hear from Dc. Matt & Lisa Levy. We ask that you bring an appetizer to share and your own drinks. Matt & Lisa have been married for more than 35 years, raising five children and joyfully watching their grandchildren grow. Their family life is rooted in love, service, and a shared Catholic faith. Matt was born and raised Jewish and later entered the Catholic Church through OCIA, where he came to embrace the richness of the faith. Together, Matt and Lisa strive to live out their faith through family, prayer, and active participation in the life of the Church. Please note that babysitting for children 6 and under will be available —just remember to bring a nut-free dinner for your child due to allergy concerns. Questions?
